The Craving

I couldn't help
but notice how
much I'd crave
for your endless
affection.

The way our
eyes would meet -
feels like I've been
taken over by a calm
entity.

The feeling washes
above me like a sun
shower which
always manages
to keep me warm.

I would long for those
intimate kisses where
the passion exceeds any
expectations.

A simple touch
from you would
keep me in an hypnotic
state -

and take me
out of this
downward spiral
where I would
have ended up,

without you.
