Blind Truth

by Innocent Fairy   Mar 7, 2012

Don't know what to do
Don't know where to turn
Lost in your own world
An it's tearing you apart

Have no where to run
No where to hide
An as you die inside
You cry inside

Fighting for strength
Growing weaker
As the insults
cut you even deeper

Determined
You stand tall each day
Sometimes finding the chance
to breathe once again

Finding trouble
seeking your dreams
Lost sight of what you've seen
It all seems to be never ending

Day in
an day out
Your mind wonders with doubt
Your all twisted an tied, vision decrease

Putting your faith to the test
and you can't even rest
Accepting the quest
and your emotions start to infest

Blister an bleed
are the sinning seeds
flaming your greed
and you start to need

Falling down a hole
deeper an deeper you go
while their fighting for your soul
and while you've lost all control
you begin to find what you've been searching for

It took confusion and pain
Driving you insane
To give you time
Give you sight

For the truth you were hiding
Only deciding

All to fall
on the path of right

    Hun,

I love the words you have used in this poem. I think you have done really well with expressing your emotions. As I read this I am reflected back on when I myself have felt like this.

    Fighting for strength
    Growing weaker
    As the insults
    cut you even deeper

I have to say that this stanza blew me away

The rhyming was great and the poem was easy to read and relate to.

    Well done

I think this depicts life in general the things we go through on a daily basis. Searching and fighting for happiness.
Good poem indeed, with realistic words and great flow
