Solitude in weekends

by Ole Carsten   Mar 11, 2012

Some days are blue
Days of blue mindset
Days of dripping tears
Down the cheeks
Dripping on my blouse

Days of sadness
Where a spot of tears
Does not matter
Love is absent

I am waiting for a life
Had once had a wife
Sitting on a Sunday alone
Waiting for Monday dawn

Tears are dripping of loneliness
Life will start some day
Kind people wish a good weekend
There's are not 24 plus 24 plus 16 hours

My weekends is like a voluntary prison
Life is at standstill in weekends
Nothing moves even the rain is still
I have to do something

Soon it is Monday
And I have social life again
At least it feels like that
Until Friday comes with tears...

    Hi Autuumnbree

The feeling here was mine after a divorse, but not anymore
life is hard sometimes, as we first feel when we ar in the situation

This was a very sadly penned poem. . . i know we feel this way at times, some more than others, or we have our own solitude that we don't like and you did a nice job describing yours....

    you're a good poet.. good job :)
