Breakfast By Mother Nature

by Maple Tree   Mar 16, 2012

She overseas her seedlings
gazing silently, as mothers do
preparing a home recipe
to feed their hungry belly's.

A pinch of moon rays
a dash of sun, mixed
with a cup of dew drops
baked within rich soil.

twisted hands reaching high
upon an early dawn
desiring a morning breakfast
fit for a growing crowd of trees....

Ohhhhhh hun I love this simple, beautiful nature poem. You are truly the nature queen!!!

I love the whole connection between all of nature as if everything in nature supports each other. It reminds me of the Lion King and how everything is connected.

The second stanza was like you were making some kind of recipe. A recipe for nature. Brilliant.

Twisted hands reaching high reminds me of trees and branches stretching out. I love this poem. It really is poetic.
