Without You

by Glenn G   Mar 17, 2012

Without you:
My life is a desert where the grass will not grow
Where the birds will not fly and the rivers won't flow

Like the ocean without salt for its unsavory seasoning
Like the poem with no rhyme, thought or reasoning

Empty as the beggars cup with no coins to shake
Empty as a destination when there's no road to take

Empty is ones life when the love they find
Turns out to be the love they left behind

Wow... this one impressed me a lot... I know how it feels like when you miss someone badly... This poem conveys how much you miss this person...
Loved it, especially the last stanza..
