Two Worlds Of Mine

by Innocent Fairy   Apr 20, 2012

I've been ignoring and escaping reality
while being lost in a completely different world.
A world full of imagination and fantasy,
a world full of possibilities and dreams.

I long for life
I long to feel alive
while my mind lies in question.

I'm not completly gone
but hard to explain what's wrong,
I sometimes feel strong.

I am stuck, intertwined
in some abstract design
and the rainbows call for color,
life calling for life.

I guess you could say
that I'm dead inside

A perfect term for feeling non-existent,
for feeling numb or nothing,
perhaps a great term for my feeling
but there's so many ways to say,
to explain

Then again not a word
seems to cross my mind

I am bounded by silence after time
Rooted to the world of reality
Only escaping a small amount of twine.

"while being lost in a completly different"
    Typo: completely

"A perfect term for feeling non-existant,"
    non-existent

Hmm.. perhaps you can say that. We all have two worlds. This world (when we're awake) and in our mind (when we're asleep/dreaming) Really nice concept here. Great piece about escapism. 5/5 :) Really enjoyed the read. Keep writing!
