A Touch of Whimsy

by Susan   Apr 20, 2012

In the streets of seduction the crickets milk,
While the caterpillars spin their precious silk.
The sun is hibernating its blinding light rays
Moonlight streams to bring close to the days.
Stars beaming down on the steaming street below
Exposing in all of the corners the webs spiders sew
The symphony of the night when the sun retreats
With katydids singing to their own off tune beats
If you open your window in the darkness of night
And lend a willing ear to the world out of sight
Quickly see the truth as it undoubtedly stands
A wonderful world made by mother nature's hands.
All because in the streets of seduction the crickets
milk,
While the caterpillars spin their precious silk.
