Golden Memories

They say time tells all
With each leaf that falls
Beginning a new day
Time just passes away

Reliving times of joy and pain
Times of sun and of rain
I relive every moment with you
Ready to create more memories soon

As time passes while I hold your hand
The hourglass drops another grain of sand
Years will vanish like a mist in the air
But all of our golden memories will be there.

    This was a great idea to go with this contest title...My favorite line was " the hourglass drops another grain of sand " That line helped the reader to visualize how time just slips away :)

    >> I love this part, and the idea of reliving and creating new memories with someone special.

    The ending was perfect - and the rhyme scheme made the poem flow well!

    Just a suggestion:

    I think you meant 'leaf' instead of 'leave' in the second line?
