Fine line I walk.

by Jenn   Apr 24, 2012

Working hard,
Praying harder.
For something to give,
Counting my reasons to live.

Finding my connection,
Plugging into the world around me.
Remember not the pain but the joy,
That I know must still surround me...

Why must I be so good at looking elated,
When really my light is far past faded.
Consciously wanted everyone to think I'm fine,
Behind closed doors wishing one person noticed
The fine line I walk...

Will I crumble?

Working hard,
Praying harder.
For something to get better
Dieing inside... But giving up, I will never...

---This is the core of the poem. It really stands out. Very well-written. But never lose faith.

^^ this line spoke up to me, it's really sad how we can pretend that we are allright but deep down we are breaking slowly until that one someone notices and breaks us completely to finally put the pieces together.
