The Sky Is Everywhere In Your Eyes

by Poet on the Piano   Apr 29, 2012

What is losing gravity
when the world has let go
of hearts that could fly-

the potential to be
your angel
drifting among melodies
I never could see,
but imagine in the tones
of your eyes.....
the curves and dips of
a hundred soft dances
impossible to miss;

those eyes
that told me destiny
with spring's rainy dew,
the kind that cleared away
my goodnight tears.

If I lose today
I will fight my mind
to stay fully clear,
and remember your eyes
that reflect each color
I am fit to be;
when you are gone
the clouds will be black
and my feet will be tied
to submission,
when all I will desire
is to let you move me.

Because, love
the sky is everywhere
in your eyes....
and I wouldn't look away
for anyone.
