Death By My Hands

by La Reina De Corazones   Apr 30, 2012

As you go after her,
Pursue her,
Chase after her,
You remind me time and time again of the persistent god Zeus
How he had many pursuits and how I honestly wish you hadn't

Blood dripping from this wicked curved knife
How the tears couldn't stop falling
The joker mask plastered upon my face.......
As you slowly started to fall

The namesake i took upon myself was nothing
I became Lady Persephone out of my desire
She became a tool upon ur hands out of foolish choice
And how you will soon fall for your stupidity for going after the one that i love soo much....

Darkness begins to kiss you
Ur breathing begins to slow down
Knowing this is your last chance at a goodbye
U slowly whisper, "I'm sorry that i messed with your cubs forgive me"

Never giving you the forgiveness you so desired
I walk towards the long ago road to recovering who i was once
Taking your apology and locking it up forever to never remember myself of what i did
I smile one last time

Wow. Wonderful poem you have penned here. :)

"The joker mask plastered upon my face......." This line caught my attention (partly because i love batman) And because it reminds me of the fake smile that the joker wore all the time. Kind of like doning a mask of fake smiles.

    Beautiful poem. 5/5 :)
