Once Upon A Time

Once open a time
There used to be
A happier person
Going to school
Was not a problem
You could make friends
Just by saying "would you like to be friends?"
Only thing that mattered
Was spending endless hours
Playing games with my friends
Love did not mean a thing
Then he got older
Love started to mean something
Friends disappearing
Friends getting girlfriends
He was all alone
Being bullied almost everyday
He only stayed alive
Because of his mother
Friends graduating without him
He Never got to go to prom
He fell in love for the first time
He was 17 she was 21
She lived far far away
She promised him the world
She promised him "I will be there soon"
But soon never came
And she found someone 1000x
Better then him
A few years later
He fell in love again
She was engaged
To a man that never deserved her
He waited and waited
That day finely came
Where she broke up with him
How happy he was
He told her how he felt
She told him "I do not love you back"
He could not sleep for days
He finely had his first kiss
With a drunk lesbian at a gay bar
Because no other girls wanted him
Years later
He met an amazing girl
He felt happy again
She was everything he wanted
But he had to end it with her
He could not handle her anymore
He still feels guilty
Why is he still alive?
When people leave his life
And no girls even look at him?
His walls higher then any building
Without anymore caring enough to tear them down

    WOW such a sad and complex poem!
    Life can be full of many obstacles but it is from this that we learn.
    Love simply sucks in one form or another it may be "sweet" as some people say but more often than not it is a poison seeking deeply within your skin slowly taking away all the things you hold dear replacing it with pain, hate and hurt that never gives in.
    An important thing to remember is that you are not alone and that there will be someone out there for you. You may not find her now or next week but you will often find them when you least expect it. Dont always seek love let love seek you that way it is more involved and wants to be there for you! Never feel guilty things will get better soon. Im sure it is.

    Poems like this are often hard to write but they are simply from the inner most depths of your heart. I can feel the emotion woven throughout every word. The pain and the hurt echoing through the depths of loves blistering wounds.
    Never give up! Love always finds a way!

    That's just simply sad!

    Ezio, I feel these days that whenever I read a poem, I can relate! What's happening? haha. I liked this, simple and the flow was not forced. You just let yourself out and it turned out to be great!

    You need to stop feeling guilty, nothing you did.. It does happen that a certain person
    does not love us back the way we were hoping for. Quite natual this so called wall
    will grow higher and higher. God has
    something planned, something wonderful
    and this person will be placed into your life
    when the time is right
