My Silent sob

by April Rose   May 2, 2012

Silent sobs echo
through the halls of memory,
while my heart bleeds
for what has yet to come.

And as my tears lay
glistening like diamonds
in a sea of saddness,
I listen
for a becon of hope.

For somewhere out there
there must be
a way to escape
this horrid reality.
