Rough Seas

by Yakari Gabriel   May 5, 2012

These seas are getting
rough, the waves are
crashing like cars
into walls, like women
into unknown beds,
like needles into skin
seeking the pulse in a
sun dried vein.

..I can't find a haven

from north to west,
from east to south
I twist and turn
but I end up in
the middle
of nowhere..

the sun likes the
hide and go seek game
except that this time,
it seemed to has lost
its way back to the firmament.

and I can't seek anymore
I've grown tired of games,
and child play, and keeping
my neck straight like
a candle holder

I was supposed to
inherit a compass,
but my guardians
threw it over board

so, I'm here
in this storm, staring
into the four corners of
the wind, the thunder
has become the echo of my soul.

End of a matter, spells victory. After the rain, the sun will shine.. Stay strong.
