Mors Mortis (Oblivion)

by Mello193   May 5, 2012

In this there in nothing
emptiness all around, the Hallow's Devine
not even the absence of sound, no lines to define
Just what appeared to be an unknown shade of black
as every memory i seemed to lack
I still remember my last breath
leading me into my death
i cant find my body, I cant find my soul
I seemed to lack all control
this nothingness surrounds me
without a single thing to see
just nothing

just nothing.
oblivion is worse than hell
something I can never truly tell
that every action, every choice
would lead me here without a voice
where there were no identity or memory
what a tragic ending to this story

nothing, nothing but black
I just wish I could go back
where are they
these people i cant remember
just silhouettes of their faces
was it September or December
I cant tell anymore, just the empty spaces that embraces
the nothing
mors mortis in oblivion, this is the way i pay for my sin
in this there is nothing

I really like how you compared Oblivion and Hell... I sometimes wonder too if it would be worse to have absolutely nothing, no feelings just blank and complete darkness... or be in Hell with eternal pain. I would prefer Heaven lol, but this poem is thought provoking.

Your rhyming is really fun to read. I really liked the second stanza.
