Silly Love Songs (Musette)

by Maple Tree   May 6, 2012

I sing
silly rhyme songs;
you bring,

sweet joy,
I try to not
annoy,

your ears,
with my love tunes
and tears.

The Musette: is a poem that consists of three verses of three lines
each. The first lines have two syllables; the second lines have four syllables, and the third lines
have two syllables. The rhyme scheme is a/b/a for the first verse; c/d/c for the second verse,
and e/f/e for the third verse. The title should reflect the poem's content.

    I can see that you are branching out in your poetry which is amazing. I love seeing you try new things. This is great!

    I always think that Musette's are a form that requires alot of thinking, I have tried this form and failed spetacularly, so kudos to you for your attempt which made me smile, and I liked...

    It was simple yet meaningful and with some humour, lovely
