My Muse

by Thomas   May 20, 2012

This morning I could not write
Just couldn't lift my pen
Simply had no will to fight
It was a question of how and not when

What is this disease
That stops the emotions from flowing
That causes this increase
In pain that needs showing

Why do I even ask the question
I already know what it is
The thing that is required for my resurrection
Let me tell you what it is

There was this girl
A dancer you must know
That knew how to dance and twirl
She pushed me into the unknown

I am so lost without person
She made me show my emotions
She gave me a reason
To struggle through life's fluctuations

Where are you my muse?
Please come back quickly
Cause this suicide bomb has a short fuse
And my body is becoming increasingly sickly

Ugh, for someone to come into your life when you were already low, pick you up and let you drop again...Love can be so hard, hon, this is really sad
