What if I told you how I REALLY feel?
Would we still be friends?

What if you understood?
It isn't possible, but what if you did?

What if you kept your promise?
Would you really be there for me,
or would you still be dreaming about her?

What if I didn't need you so much?
Would I be less scared of losing you?

What if I saw myself the way you see me?
Would it really be better than how I see myself,
or is that just a lie you tell me so I'll shut up?

What if you trusted me the way I trust you?
Do you think you'd scare me away?
Is there really nothing else to tell?

What if you aren't as perfect as I think?
Would I love you any less?
This is the one thing I know with certainty.
I wouldn't. :)
