No Goodbye

I don't know what to say
Or what to do no more
Don't have you near me
I've closed that door

Didn't say goodbye
Didn't shed no tears
Just walked away
and forgot all the years

We were so close
But we no longer are
Should've held on
Since we came so far

But I didn't say goodbye
Just left you behind
Removed you from
my insane mind...

No longer near me
No longer do we talk
It's long in the past
Since I decided to walk

No tears were shed
No goodbyes said
Just footsteps left
As I rapidly fled

    You walked away and got no closure seems like that still haunts you a little.
    Break-ups are never easy but no closure makes them even harder

    Sometimes the best option is to walk away with no goodbyes... to sever the cord so there's no more communication... it just makes it harder sometimes.
