Painted Lady of Elegance

Elegantly landing among an emerald shaded leaf,
painted aura wings shall electrify a sunlit
fountain of youth.

Feeding upon a daffodils pollen,
captures my authentic designs,
but "where have all the flowers gone"

Sorrow echo's within meadows of winter,
as the flowers have all decayed,
growing tired of hunger.

Softly, I sing as a raindrop dances
around a wilted flower petals smile,
hope becomes a new spring.

Preposterous thoughts illuminate natures
whisper, as umbrella clouds
ignite a sweet butterfly's spirit.

    Wow, this poem is so mesmerizing... I was blown away by the way you described nature in this poem. I really enjoyed it. It was a hopeful poem, and reminded me of new beginning and accepting certain situations.

    I love this stanza the most:

    "Softly, I sing as a raindrop dances
    around a wilted flower petals smile,
    hope becomes a new spring."

    --- hopefully there will be hope for that wilted flower as the raindrops dances on her petals.

    This is what a PICTURE PERFECT nature poem should be written. The images of those flowers were running so vividly in my head.

    Only a true artist can draw such a beautiful and breathtaking picture using his words ..

    This will be hanging as a unique painting in my favorites gallery :)
