Dear Kel

by Chloe DeWitt   Jun 14, 2012

Lately, it sounds as if you've suffered great hell
I know I just met you ,
But it seems as if I already know you so well
We have too much in common,
Like the razor we hide under our pillow,
Or the people we see,
When we look in our own mirror.
You say that you want to date me,
But that you're cursed with a spell,
That spell I've known before, to cause me great hell.
I've seen your pictures,
And you look very well,
But like a lost soul,
Searching for help.
I look at your face,
And wonder what to notice first,
That wonderful smile you're trying to hide,
Or the way your beautiful eyes, seem as though they might burst...
You look mysterious,
Like I shouldn't trust you,
Yet beautiful in ways that are undescribable.
Like the slow curl to your hair,
and the slight glow in your eyes,
Please promise to me Kel,
That there will be no lies.
It's been nowhere near long enough for me,
To see the real you,
The one I need to meet.
He hides all the while,
And puts on that fake smile,
I want to get to know you, babe,
To taste your real smile.
Count the intense moments we'll share,
To one, two, or a few,
Please tell me Kel,
Why is it so hard, not to fall in love with you.....
To: Kel ;)
