The Familiar Stranger

by XxxWordsOfWisdomxxX   Jul 15, 2012

The familiar stranger
In the crowd
You swear you know her
But you don't

You think you know those
Icy blue eyes
The dark black hair
In a wave

The familiar stranger
In the crowd
You know you know her
But you really don't

The smile;
It's familiar
The lips;
Bright pink

The familiar stranger in the crowd
You swear you know her
But you don't
Because she's gone

    Very nice penned piece! I like it. You said three times 'But you don't'. I think it would give better sound if you say 'But I'm sure you don't' OR 'But I swear you don't".
    It's up to you.
    This aside, but I really enjoyed it.
