Your Delicious Poem

It comforts me to think
you could be here, contemplating
my hands rubbing your thoughts
against my body, celebrating outrageously
my great deed as if all my certainties lived
underneath an incandescent conviction.

For you
my poems tremble with desire
as the fingers at the tip of my words
grope for new boundaries between
galaxies.
For you
my heart can be contained in a cliche
for I am not afraid of making
delicious mistakes anymore.
