The guy

Every girl needs that guy,
if not to fall in love with,
then to love through life's downfalls
To give her opinions and encouragement,
that her girlfriends fail to give
In a perspective that only
a male will hold

Who will not provide comfort
in the warmth of his arms,
but with the quality of his words
As he lavishes her with compliments
And parades around her emotions,
not damaging a single one

I have found mine in the heart
of the United Kingdom
His friendship and affection
carried across the sea,
like thousands of skipping rocks

Every girl needs a guy like him
Who offers his ear for listening,
and his mouth for advice
Rather than block her out
or spew hurtful words

The type that would fight for her
for no other reason than,
her friendship is something he cherishes-
while she finds his unforgettable

    This is such a sweet dedication to Ben. Your friendship is special and something you both cherish. We all need to have that one special guy friend who we can talk to as well as our girls and vice versa. I have more guy friends than I do girls, they are like big brothers.
