Unimproved

I was such a fool
when I left school,
thinking my life would improve.

All day long
I tried to be strong
hoping my life would improve.

The years passed on
and I didn't belong.
My life would never improve.

Nearly 4 years gone
how was I so wrong
to believe my life could improve.
