A Conversation With The Rain

by Selfrejected   Aug 7, 2012

The thunder wrang out
And the rain came down
The street cleared out
But when I turned around
You were just standing there
Staring at a dark skyline
Was it the rain or tears in your eyes?
Never told me why but you started screaming
Burn me, I love it when you burn me!

I saw a rage; never knew you were able
Might have been some bad news, met with a cosmic crescendo
Or just a horrible day without a sad piano?
But I saw something new; capable
I could taste it in this moment
Something... so able

You always loved loud noises, always loved loud noises
Never came running
You always loved loud noises, always loved loud noises
Never came running

Was it the rain or tears in your eyes?
Never told me why but you started screaming
Burn me, I love it when you burn me!
And you were all pride in a smile

I believe you had meant to write "piano" not "panio". I am in love with this write.
