Formaldehyde
tosses me into a dream
each time I read from your ink.

You captivate me
as the knife, slowly
di-sects my tears,
one, by one.

Searching for answers
as to why I have fallen
in love with the syllables
you toss across
the biology table
of my mind-

Scatter me with pins
and label each emotion
with your whispers,
for my yearning ear
wishes to learn more.
