Laugh at the tides of the sea

by Matthew Anthony   Aug 18, 2012

Weep my dear, for it will be your saviour
i'll fight for your corner, please take this last gesture
one of life's tough tester's, thought i'd ruffle the feathers
knew this would be my failor, fears taken my braver me
tried to settle the tides of the sea
and guilt the wind to truly believe
I crossed a path, with you as my mast
now the good ship has sailed away from me
