The rose that grew from concrete

by Matthew Anthony   Sep 21, 2012

The rose that grew from concrete
Despite of true born grief
Although he faced a mighty climb
He followed his belief

And not a stutter would declare
Your fallacies are true
The sun was not his shining light
The moon, it shone him through

So fait-fully he rose astray
A fait entangled grace
There lay a demon within his sole
and crept aside his face

Eventually he saw what's true
His sole that lived within
He gazed back on reflection
The world became his sin
