Splitters Patter

by Matthew Anthony   Jan 23, 2013

Excuse me this excuse
while I baffle most of you, I should do
mainly with a pose I suppose.

You may just get the gist,
you had a mission, it’s your religion
to doubt a mighty reign
splitter’s patter, I'm screaming at ya

how have you not noticed
the rift between the gentle drifting, spitting
no arms, I'm missing
something by my side, no jeckle/ hide
or feelings inside that I’ve found amused
its only you that feels abused?

and clasher, basher, meanings trashed I
didn't want to feel the shame,
lets re-cap and faint again
no point to me, you've got tory, written all over your face, this saving grace was meant to replace.

all your death and glory, your good night story
your fortunes bored me, to an insoluble place
what a disgrace no matter matter, splitter splatter
