The Horseman

by Lance Hardy   Aug 25, 2012

The horseman went up the hill
To see his love so dear
By tree front he waited for many hours
Til she wouldn't come he feared
With a roar of pain he drew his sword
And stabbed it through the ground
With wounded heart and on one knee
He swore no love he would vow
As he prepared to ride away
He heard a snap from behind
Around the tree he went and saw
With rope his love had died
