Living with your Goodbye

by Mohan   Aug 27, 2012

In a winter day
found myself standing under rain drops
awaiting where you college bus stops
hours passed
till I saw you with your friends in the foot path

It's the last chance for me to prove myself
I tried until your college bus came there
then I had a cute reply from you
"Goodbye"

You pushed me in the hell with just words
You picked your bus
I waited once again with a little hope
But you never turn back, till now

Sometimes I was telling you
I can't live without you
But now I'm living with your goodbye
Sometimes my nights were filled with a pain

you gave me a plastic smile
which I can't keep after your goodbye
sometimes I'm blaming myself
Am I the number one fool in this fake world
Because still loving you

But even though I find myself imagining your next hello
Just not wanting to destroy this hope

This is a very deep poem pouring out with emotions of hope and love. Love can be more painful that we seem to think and I like the way you described the way she gives you a plastic smile that was a beautiful way of describing ones mask.
The part where you talked about being number one in this fake world really captured me as I can truly relate...
I find that when you love someone or think you love someone they could be completely fake and lie to you the whole time yet you are blind by what you think is the truth....
The hardest part is to continue this journey knowing that they might just repeat goodbye and you lose a bit of that hope time and time again! Keep strong and know someday someone better will come your way!

    overall great poem!
    5/5 from me!
