Pygmalion

by Lyndy   Aug 31, 2012

Careful strokes caress,
carving formless to perfection;
the elevation of beauty in the eyes
ideals to love of a flawless creation

tears brim to fall,
assays of wishful thinking:
an undeniable truth,
sends a tender heart aching

with screams and yells of silence,
humbles the king;
only heard by gods and goddesses,
incarnates a dream
