All we have is doubt

by Yakari Gabriel   Sep 17, 2012

I could have
cleared your wounds for
you, could have kissed
them slowly until
you were healed
and ready to get on
with life again.

I could have waited
patiently, like a foreigner
in a new train station,
on a cold afternoon
anxious to reach his
destination.

I could have,
oh yes, I could
have loved you in
all the four languages I speak

..but my versality confused you.

Grrr I wish my jealousy of your poetry would go away lol

Its only natural that I feel like saying "I love this!" Because I do!

Love the imagery of a foreigner in a train station, that was brilliant, I could picture the scenes and hear the sounds as I read that.

Lovedddd the last stanza, and line :) could have loved you in all 4 languages I speak......that really wowed me. So sincere, yet so let down.

    You're brilliant.
