Early (Rictameter)

by Maple Tree   Sep 20, 2012

Early
sounds of morning,
tease droopy eyes to wake,
songbirds bless a pastel sunrise
scattering the landscape with beautiful
colors, mixing marigolds and
petunias with a kiss
of hope, I rise
early
