Demise

by inaudible confessions   Jun 29, 2004

If i could escape the demons that overcome me would i be free of this undisclosed burden i carry?
The deepest shade of blue cannot compare to the darkness of my soul
The leaves of my being crumble beneath the requirements of this world

I watch the sky fade to black, and then i'm released

The pressure to be perfect is overwhelming
The concept of feeling completely alive is becoming inconceivable
Receding into an abstract world is deemed a good escape
But trying to escape is deemed faulty

I watch the sky fade to black, and then i'm released

What's to be done when fatal mistakes can't be reversed?
It's difficult to admit you were wrong when you come to a false conclusion
It's even harder to accept the ending when you realize it's eternal
Now i'm bleeding regret, watching the sky slowly fade to black
Then suddenly my spirit is released and a life is left incomplete
