No excuse

by Khalid M Darwish   Oct 21, 2012

Who'd excuse
her insistence
in loving her moon
who kept forgetting her
while she's remembering him?

He left her, with no reason
although she excused him
She told the spoilers,
if they need a brag
she'll provide it

His only house
is her only heart
Now, who'd ask him
where can she hide him?

Yeah, I have to learn to disconnect from Spanish. The moon is classified as a she so that always get me confuse when I read poems that classified it a he.

Did you use a form poetry?

This piece is a bit confusing...

but I thought you meant that someone cheated on someone and there is no excuse for that.

The reason why I find it confusing is because you use moon and I think some part of it you are referring the moon as her.. But you are also using the she.. So I don't know if you are referring to the moon or to she.

No Luce. She considers her beloved man as her moon. Just re-read the piece.
She still loves him while he's keeping forgetting her.
