Cotton Escape

by Maple Tree   Oct 26, 2012

She is the breeze of a tropical
midnight, drenched in rain drops,
drowning from yesterdays
sunset, eyes become fixed
on highs and lows
of a horizon's melody.

Lights of a thousand
wishes, engulf her
spirited cotton
shadow, becoming
one with the sky,
hearing white
sounds of doves flying....

Finally she has another nature peice. It is so nice to see them after the darker or deeper poems because it takes you to a different place of tranquility and peace and I would hope that this, for a moment, was how you felt when writing this in the zone.

    Beautiful words Maple.

This is beautiful Andrea, I felt that it is really calming to the soul, I got lost in it and felt peaceful for just a few minutes, it made me slip into a totally sane world and it was a total joy to read...
