Earth

by Haley   Oct 30, 2012

I sit in the sky

I watch you scurry about.

In all truth,

You fascinate me

Your only specks of dust,

Floating in a mist of dreams.

You're on the edge of destruction

Yet you find time to watch us.

You wait for us to send you a sign

That you aren't alone.

You are more than a whisper among the stars,

You enthrall us with your inventions

and surprise us with your diversity

but I wonder

am I truly more than

a wish in your hearts?
