Death

by Haley   Oct 30, 2012

Death is silent

But is it peaceful?

They say deaths peaceful

I don't know if I believe them

I believe it'd hurt

You're leaving everything behind

Your body.

Your life.

It would still be quiet

Loud quiet

A tormenting quiet

Like you're frozen for a moment

You can hear your heart slowing and stopping

You can feel your lungs stop working

And your mind is stilled

Then silence

Silence

Of course,

Something could happen after you die

You could see angels...

Bidding you hello as you go to heaven

Or crying as you descend into hell

Life could just start over

In a circle of karma

'Round and 'round

But it is possible

That we just wait forever

Wishing we could see the sun once more

Or smell the rain as it falls.

Longing for the chance

To just say good-bye

To those we love
