Cut

by Hollow Face   Nov 26, 2012

Ever feel the pull,

the urge, the sweet temptation of the blade? Have you felt the cool steel against your wrist?

It can call to you, whisper hideous words while you dream. You try so hard to stay away, push back the satisfaction of seeing crimson lies running down your arm.

You need the release, stress of the world weighing on your back and now you watch the gleaming blade a simple thought crosses your mind.

They say you shouldn't, they so much. But it's just a little cut. So little, now it's not enough. You need it like you need air to breathe, the feeling suffocates you and drives you down to your knees.

Cut a little deeper, cut a little more. Let your pain slip away with a blissful slice of the blade. Hide the ugly truth under your sleeve, hide all your shame.

Cut, cut, cut, cut, until you lie on the floor, wishing you never bowed down to the addicition. Cut, cut, cut, until your eyes droop down and your life seeps out.
