Snow White ( with crimson monster on a throne of Chains

by Biancas Veil   Dec 6, 2012

We tell you a tale of a far away place,
A beautiful smile with a beautiful face,
With skin as fair and as pure as light,
We bring you the tale of Snow White.

With hair black as night and lips as red as the rose,
Throughout the kingdom her beauty echoes,
The queen of the land finds herself jealous,
Her indifference turning into malice

Clouded by jealousy the queen became enraged,
She turns to her mirror feeling upstaged.
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who is the fairest of them all?

Ravens hair with blood red lips and skin of pure light,
It is the maiden bearing the name of Snow White,
Enraged at the thought of her nearing downfall,
She calls a huntsman to bring Snow's heart and leave her body for the animals to maul

Of his own free will the huntsman came,
With nothing to offer but an axe to his name.
He listens to the queens dark plan to rid Snow of this land,
With a promise to give what he wants the most and see held within his hand.

The huntsman puts the plan into play and takes her to the meadow,
He watches her dance and pick flowers his thoughts coming slow,
Finally he understands why the queen wants Snow's heart,
In this innocent woman's death he will take no part

With word of the huntsman's betrayal, the queen sends out a horde,
She demands the life of the huntsman and Snow White's heart on a sword.
Knowing that the queen wants them, the huntsman tries to keep snow away,
Guarding her as she sleeps and protecting her in the day.

After days of searching and no tracers found the queen takes matters into her own hands,
She makes a spell to age her face and change her hair in her place an old lady now stands,
Her Majesty makes another spell for a poison apple with a red peel,
For Snow White just one small bite will make her blood congeal.

She catches Snow White alone in an open rose field,
With no weapon and only the poison apple she wield.
After seeking, searching, they meet at last,
Little did Snow White know that, her death would soon become a thing of the past.

She felt her breathing slow and her heartbeat stop the last thing she heard was the huntsman's pained cry,
Consciousness swept away it was as if she were wrapped in blackness unable to move like a cocooned butterfly,
Than a voice started to become clearer as was the gentle touch of a tear on her fair skin,
The pressure of a kiss touched her lips conciseness flooded back and she saw her huntsman grin.

Awakening to the sight of seeing his face,
Our Raven haired beauty had found her place.
However, it was not over, this wasn't the end,
The queen had to be stopped before she thought of another order to send.

But they needn't look far as the queens haggard disguise had started to fade,
Her hair fell like silk down her back, her face smoothed as she looked to where they laid,
The queen could not believe her eyes as Snow White was lifted to her feet,
Outraged she would not admit defeat.

Snow White was still weary and unable to fight on her own,
The huntsman Stood before her but, she wouldn't let him fight alone.
With an axe drawn and the queens magic flying,
At the end of it all only one was left crying.

As we come to end of our tale,
I will tell you that the queen was not the one impaled,
She takes her pleasure from Snow White's loss to brokenhearted to fight,
Be warned this is not a fairy tale love does not always make everything alright.

I liked the ending for sure, other parts were a little sketchy but the imagery made up for it.
I'm pretty sure you guys based this off of the recent movie Snow white & the Huntsman.
Its a good adaptation but don't be afraid to read the original (Grimm Fairy Tales) version. Unlike the Disney movie or recent adaptations of it the Grimm is the uncensored old tale of it.

Either way I'm sure it took some time to put this all together. Good job.
    5/5
