I wrote this poem for the 26 people we lost today and their families. When Im upset I write this poem was written hastily so its not so great. I just needed to get out my thoughts while trying to give some comfort. Sam
Today heaven received 26 new angels
Even though it was an agent of evil who sent them to their final destination it was agents of goodness who greeted them with open arms
Though their families have been left behind they will never truly be alone
Although we grieve as a nation we must also open our hearts and loan the families missing their loved ones our shoulders to cry on for their pain is overwhelming
As we struggle to understand the motives of a madman we have to remember God has a plan for each one of us even though we don't yet know what it is
Call upon Him for comfort and guidance as He is waiting for you with open arms ready to ease your pain
From today to many weeks ahead a dark cloud fills the skies and our hearts but now we have the to help us get through it
Because today Heaven received 26 new angels
