Fragile reflection

by Joanna Ramirez   Dec 27, 2012

Mirror mirror on the wall
Am I the purest of them all?
Am I the one to make the point?
To show them girls aren't toys
Will guys see me as a rose?
Precious, fragile and full of hope
Or will I be seen as old clothes
Dirty, faded, and on the floor
I've been hurt so much
Is he the one to trust or the one to push aside?
Will he ask if he can touch?
Or will he tell me about his love inside
Will he tell me I'm his rose?
And he will care for me forever more
How long will I wait
I'm down on my knees
Will it be luck of faith?
All I need is love please

Beautiful. Keep asking the questions. They bring you closer to the answer.
