Crypt Keeper: Curiosity killed the Cat

by Maple Tree   Dec 30, 2012

I call her the crypt keeper,
demonic entity with brutal
eyes, lurking in the comfort
of my personal space.

She tends to eavesdrop
on silent secrets I save
for special moments tween
my love and I, we vibrate
souls like no two lover's
do, her jealousy over takes
sanity.

As we rest in coffins designed
for eternal rest, her beady gaze
stalks shadows in the night,
and soon, very soon, my
pearly teeth will bite her
thoughts; one last time....

I loved the idea of this one too, and I had to choose between this and Tara's. I really enjoyed reading it.
