Beware Of The Other Face

I thought it was a result
to that action though what
I did never deserved your
reaction, and I figured out
the reason that triggered
you but this time it was not
a deja vu.

This time my words caused
your retraction, realizing I
stood there awaiting for
the next interaction, you
assured the skeptic in me
that no matter what we
can pull through.

Then everything became
a distraction from the
simple fact that it only
takes a fraction, for love
to shape-shift into hatred
and unleash the hidden
beast within you.

Each breath came with a
struggle in extraction, while
you glorified yourself with
a sense of satisfaction,
and as I gave up I saw
that you were someone
I never knew.

    Great work Meme, It shows the breakdown of what we thought wa something perfect and someone we loved, and the change of when they turn into someone we feel as a stranger to us, We wonder if we ever knew them, like they have been swapped with a total different person. We question ourselves about how we could ever love someone like this and how someone could go from one extreme to the other.

    You captured this well and I liked your flow and the rhyme throughout, it defiantly could be turned into a song or rap.
