The Void's Answer

My heart longs.
For what, I don't know.
Confused, agitated.
I'm growing weary.
Why won't it stop?
But then, I know.
It's Jesus.
I've been neglecting Him.
How could I do that?
The one person who loves me
through and through.
I have to go back to Him.
I have to feel His love again.
I will.
I'll start this instant.
This time, I won't drift away.

Thank you, Jesus.

    i liked this particular poem of yours cause i remember feeling like that at times. i feel lonely, sad and confused and i think its because of the distance i keep from god at times. i am 2 a complicated person:). well keep up the writing. a great way of expresion. i'll be sure to check up on your poems.
