Waiting...

by lillie   Jan 17, 2013

Have you every glanced at a heard of stallions from a far? Together they run, their speed faster than a car.

When I lay upon the soft grass and gaze upon a star.
I wonder why you left me such a big scar.

You imprinted your name upon this heart of mine.
As you left me, you told me soon I would be fine.

I've let go, I've been set free from your chains.
All these questions, throughout my blood they pump, and into my veins.

Did I ever really get to know the real person who is you.
But maybe it is her who knows you best, she now calls you her boo.

The past is the past, but what do I have if no one can win my heart over again.
I want to find true love, but its hard, and I don't want to pretend.

Sometimes I watch the stallions run so far, and so free.
I smile and wonder, if that stallion could ever be me.

I want to run far, I want to fall in love once more.
I want to love another man, like never before.

Where is the excitement, and when will I kiss upon a pair of new lips.
Where is my perfect romantic moment, as you grab me by the hips.

We dance to some slow songs, and sip on some lovely
red wine.
I cannot wait to be with you, love you unconditionally, and call you mine.
