I thought I was fine...

I thought I was fine, 'til I read something someone wrote
It came at me with fierce velocity, like a punch in the throat
Fighting for each breath, tears run like a streams waters
All at once I stumble and I falter

Fighting for composure and some kind of reason
Emotions swoop, dive and change direction faster than any season
The moment passes, though I'm feeling suspended animation
Waiting, but unprepared for the next cruel incarnation
