If my body could tell a story

by TheDarkCloudBehindthePoet   Feb 7, 2013

If my body could tell a story what would it say?
Would it tell you to screw off and go away,
Trying to hide the scares from being revealed,
With all its might and hiding how it feels,

Minutes go by and hours but still not a word,
Everyone standing at attention, how obsured,
Waiting to hear the tale of all tales, story of all stories,
The rise the fall, the eventual glory,

The failure and triumph, trial and tribulations,
Everyone on the edge of their seat, frantically waiting,
Then a faint whisper echoes across the room,
Finally a word, know the conference can resume,

My body says, "a picture says a thousand words",
"It is a canvas where evils art occurs",
"Slicing away, leaving a trail of tears in its wake",
"Leaving its body of work, only evil can create",

"But in failure there is hope",
"Never giving in, not tying the rope",
"Finding it within yourself to live",
"Prayer its not to late for God to forgive",

"But one word sums it all up",
"How I feel, the pain, the torment, all the sacrifices I give up",
"This word is sacred, it is the depressers cure",
"This word is magical and profound, the word is endure",
